Objectives

Learning objectives (knowledge, skills and competences to be developed by students)
The international supply chain network interconnects production and consumption through the use of means of transport and various logistics platforms that reduce the complexity of the chain by linking modes of transport. Understanding transport and logistics should be integrated by understanding network nodes and the importance of their role, typology and measure of performance in terms of efficiency and effectiveness.

Goals:
• Provide students with skills that allow them to understand the importance of logistics infrastructures for transportation and handling of products and their interconnection with the different modes of transportation

• Understand and characterize air, land and port logistics platforms and their integration into supply chain networks

• Characterize the stakeholders of the logistics platforms and intermodal transport

Teaching Methods

It is proposed to use the expository, interrogative and active methods, seeking to create an active learning environment, where the teacher acts as supervisor, supervisor and dynamizer of the learning process.
