    The student should recognize the importance of the sharing and use of adequate, reliable and timely information in supply chain processes.

    You should be able to:

    • Understand the architecture, use and adapt existing logistical information systems in organizations;
    • Identify and select information technologies appropriate to the processes of the organization.

  • Teaching Methods

    Theoretical / laboratory classes: combining expository, interrogative, active and demonstrative methods, with specific exercises and operations, using appropriate technologies and software, individually and / or in a group.

  • Content Explanation

    The four proposed chapters deal with the fundamental aspects of Logistics Information Systems (verifiable in the bibliography), allowing the student to achieve the objectives stated above.

  • Methodology Explanation

    Contact hours are held in the classroom, using the expository method to present the set of knowledge (with slide show support) essential to the acquisition of skills within the programmatic content.

    The interrogative method serves as an auxiliary method to the expository method using techniques of argumentation, interrogation and dialogue with students.

    The active and demonstrative method uses case studies or pedagogically adapted real problems, storms of ideas and use of demonstration / simulation software, in which the theoretical knowledge is applied, through the analysis of concrete situations and proposals for resolution by the students.
